I thought we could continue our discussion on the previous post about whether the concept of a snoring solution exists. The thing that really irks people about this the most is that they don’t understand why they start producing the snoring sounds when they sleep. The real question that pops into their head is why doesn’t it happen while they’re awake or while they’re at the gym. Why is it so limited toward sleeping? These are questions that medical science struggled to answer for the longest time. They just couldn’t figure out the root cause of it all and that is precisely the reason why you wouldn’t of learned about this in school growing up or from your parents because they never had any information to really give you.

You should be able to recognize that the sounds you hear are coming from your throat. Actually medical science was very quick to identify exactly what was happening in this case. You have loose tissue and mucus in your throat area. As you breath this all starts vibrating and you end up with sounds. Surprisingly knowing this information hasn’t helped out anyone at all. The reason for that is that you have this tissue and mucus in your throat at all times. It doesn’t matter if you’re asleep or awake, it is there. You’re obviously breathing 24 hours a day, so why does it suddenly vibrate and create snoring sounds only when you go to sleep?

This question has plagued scientists for a long time because they weren’t able to explain why. Like all logical investigating, you’re going to study the area of the throat to see if you can find clues. Even though this is the most logical thing to do, it actually set back the research a lot. Just because the sounds are produced in the throat area, doesn’t mean that they were caused in anyway by something in the throat.

Other theories came out to try and explain it. Something like being overweight was viewed as a very probable cause. It is true that if you’re overweight you’re more like to suffer from a snoring problem. But the reality is that a lot of people that are skinny snore. This didn’t answer any questions for them. It didn’t help them in anyway. A doctor can’t tell someone that is skinny to lose weight because it is just stupid.

There was also a theory about getting much more sleep at night. It is true that a lack of sleep can really improve your odds of snoring. It’s a fair assumption because I’ve experienced it many times before. Yet again, it didn’t explain why people who got +9 hours of sleep each night would do it too. I think this is something that you could easily pick up on too. I know some pretty lazy people that sleep long hours and they definitely snore.

You have to remember how such theories came out as factual methods. Typically what would happen is that they would have a medical study. They would get 100 people that snored to participate and they’d start collecting information. They probably noticed that a higher number of people were overweight and put two and two together. The same thing could be said about the lack of sleep theory. They probably measured the sleeping time of most snorers and found that they didn’t get a full night of sleep each night. It isn’t concrete science, just an estimated guess.

It is okay to do this sort of thing to try and give science an idea of where they should be looking for the problem, but a lot of people really need to understand that these things are nothing more than probabilities and nothing more.

The best thing that medical researchers did was stop looking for a solution in the throat area because there was nothing to find. As they start focusing on the mouth area they started to learn a lot more about what was really happening. In fact there are a few things that happen and they all work together to create this entire problem of you creating snoring sounds. I’m going to spend a little time going into detail on each of the reasons.

The first reason is due to your tongue. It seems like an odd thing, but the whole thing is caused due to the muscles that hold your tongue in place. You might not realize this, but it is your tongues position is set primarily by muscles. It keeps he tongue much closer to the front of your mouth for eating and things like this. The problem is when you go to sleep. Sleeping causes your muscles to relax and this causes your tongue slide back closer to the throat. This sliding back actually causes a narrowing in the throat area for air.

The second reason is due to the position of your jaw. Your jaw follows the same rules as your tongue and the position of it is controlled by these muscles. The problem is that when you sleep the muscles start to relax and this causes the jaw slide back and rest on the throat. This actually creates a lot of pressure on this area and essentially squeezes the throat.

When you put these two things together you get the perfect condition for snoring sounds. The jaw creates a lot of pressure on the throat and squeezes it. When you breath in a certain volume of air, but through a smaller space you’re going to end up with more pressure and faster speeds. The position of the tongue leads to more wheezing like sounds. The two make all that you’re going to hear and that is the entire issue. Essentially the tube that is your throat is much thinner and air has to travel through it at a much faster rate. This means that you’re going to experience much more violent types of vibration and that is the whole issue right there in a nut shell.

When it comes to the problem of snoring people are nothing more than clueless. More people are suffering from this than the generation proceeding it. It isn’t that we are more likely to have this issue, it’s due to the fact that we are just as ignorant to the problems. You would have never learned about a snoring solution that could fix this problem from your parents. You probably had a mother or father that battled this problem for most of your life. Obviously the school system isn’t talking about this sort of thing in health class because there are other health issues that need to be addressed.

This is the real issue when you get down to the nuts and bolts of it all. It has nothing to do with the fact that you suffer from this problem. It’s the fact that no one ever talks about it. And when no one is talking, there is obviously no free exchange of ideas and information. If you were overweight you would have a good idea of what you’d need to do to get back to a healthy weight, even if you didn’t act on that information. You have this conventional wisdom because people talk. You hear about it on television. You’ve probably heard about it from your parents. You also have friends that have gone on diets. Everyone is talking about other problems, but not this.

The good news is that you’re at my site and you’re looking. You’re looking for a solution that is finally going to set you free from this problem. I was once in your position and I can tell you that the solution is out there waiting for you. It just requires action on your part to find it.

When I was growing up my father had the snoring problem in the house and he had it pretty bad. I remember having to listen to it through the walls. I swear that the walls on the house actually vibrated with every rumble of his snore sounds. I could hardly imagine what it was like for my mother who had to sleep in the bed next to him. It wasn’t like one night or two nights, it was for decades and that is what really scared me.

As I got older and moved out on my own, I started to get my own snoring problem. It wasn’t the best feeling in the world to see that I was going to start to develop the problem that my dad had throughout his life and I just didn’t want that for myself. I knew that I had to change this and change it as fast as I could. At this point I was looking for any remedies for snoring that I could start to use to clear up this problem.

The thing that you have to watch out for this that there is a lot misinformation out there that is only going to waste your time. Things that are completely stupid and don’t even related to the problem. I think of all the people that have been suckered into this sort of thing, just hoping that they can get rid of this once and for all. I’ve known people that actually wore these face mask things on their face. It was a stop snoring device, but it was like a medical machine. I couldn’t bring myself to ask how much money he spent on such a contraption, but I bet he paid a pretty penny for it. And you know what? I didn’t do a thing to stop the problem and that is what makes me sad.

I often wonder why people aren’t using the snoring solution that I ended up finding. It hit me… The people that suffer from snoring don’t really have the problem. All those years that my dad was rumbling away in bed, he didn’t hear it. It didn’t keep him up at night. It didn’t even make a sound because he was sound asleep when it happened. The real victims here are those that have to listen to it. It is the spouse in bed next to you that is the victim. It is your roommate or children that can hear you through the walls.

Without being a victim, you won’t have any desire to fix this problem. I don’t think I ever seen my father attempt to try and fix this or at least learn about it. He genuinely didn’t care because it didn’t have any negative effect on his life. I suspect this is the way it is for most people because they just don’t see the need to know a snoring solution because it doesn’t add any benefit to their life. It doesn’t mean you’re going to sleep any better. It is the people around you that are going to get that immediate benefit, and I would hope that you would want to stop snoring for them. This is why it is often necessary for a spouse to have to go out and dig up the real solution that is going to provide the results.

If you put a little bit of rational thought into this you should be able to see that there is some sort of mechanical issue associated with this. Obviously the sounds are coming from your throat. The other obvious you should take from this is that it only happens when you sleep. You are in the position of breathing normally without creating all these sounds, even when you’re lying down. The issue starts as soon as you zone out and fall asleep. The rumbling immediately starts and you’re in the midst of the snoring problem.

Basically, you will want to understand exactly what is happening to create this problem, so that you can easily identify the solutions for snoring that are going to give you real results. As soon as you identify this issue, it becomes apparently obvious what you need to do. There’s no need to chase after some product that claims it will fix this once and for all, but it’s only trying to get some money out of you. There are good snoring aids on the market that can really help you out. You just have to be in a position to identify if such an aid would work for you.

I thought before I go into detail on the concept of snoring surgery before someone suckers you to go down that path. The sounds that you hear in your throat are actually pieces of loose tissue in your throat that hang right in the airway. As you breath that tissue starts to move. This is something that happens while you’re awake and asleep, so it isn’t the reason you start snoring, but it does create the sound. While you’re asleep that tissue vibrates in a very violent manner and you end up with sounds.

The idea behind snoring surgery is to go in and cut out all that tissue. I suppose it makes sense to most people and it definitely works. Here’s my objection to this though. Only a small percentage of people will actually have to get this type of snoring treatment. You probably think that you have the worst problem in the world, but you really don’t. You can assume that you’re just an average snorer and that’s all there is to it. You don’t need to go this far and this drastic to solve this problem. Sure it is a remedy for snoring that you could use, but it is one that is very expensive to do. It is surgery, so there is always risks associated with it. Things like infections could cause a lot of trouble for the body and that just seems completely unnecessary.

The fact is that I suspect you won’t go this route. We all have to remember that as a snorer, you’re not the victim. You have really no problem with your snoring and you’re probably not going to go this route. The easier a solution can be for you the better. And that is what I’m going to present to you in a later post. I’ve been yapping and yapping about this issue. I haven’t got a chance to get into the actual snoring solution that you should be using to fix this problem once and for all.

Let me just reiterate everything for you. There is a way to beat this problem. There are actually a lot of remedies for snoring that you could be using. Since the real victims of this problem are the ones that hear it, they’re the only ones that seem to be motivated to fix anything. The fact is that you (the person snoring) is the one that is going to have to do this. Keeping the solution as simple as possible is the only way that this is going to work and I’m going to show you exactly how to do it in a later post.

Snoring for a lot of people is just some sort of an enigma. It is a riddle that has plagued a lot of people’s lives for a long time. Consider your parents. The likelihood that one of them actually snored is pretty high. I bet you never seen them find a solution that fixed the problem, but I bet you remember this problem dragging on for decades. Just think of mom in the bed, next to a snoring dad that has been doing it for decades. I really don’t know how anyone can live a life like that because that is absolutely crazy! I don’t know what is more alarming; snoring or the people that snore.

So why do people not seek out a solution for snoring?

This is a question that I have asked myself quite a few times and I’ve yet to figure out an answer. I keep coming back to two possible answers to this question. The first is that most people don’t want to change. I think a lot of people assume that you have to make a huge life change to fix this problem. In some cases that is true for snoring. Some people have to go through things like surgery or lose weight, but for the average person you don’t require much.

The other reason that pops into my mind is that there is no conventional wisdom when it comes to snoring. When you think about it, did you learn about fixing snoring problems in school or from your parents? If you’re watching your favorite sitcom on television, did they talk about fixing snoring problems? Most people have a generally idea of what they need to do for weight loss, but for snoring they don’t have the first clue.
